Help Empower Students for Success During the COVID-19 Pandemic

Clothes For Kids provides school clothing (including socks, underwear, and shoes) to lower-income students in our community. Each school year, Clothes For Kids provides quality clothing for thousands of Snohomish County students.

Though everyday life has shifted dramatically, Clothes For Kids remains focused on serving our community and providing quality clothing to local students. While school may look different this school year, kids continue to grow and the need for clothing is very real.

The pandemic made it necessary for us to cancel all our in-person fundraising events this year, which is putting extreme strain on our budget. We will not have our annual Transforming Lives Breakfast this fall, and we had to cancel our Celebrate the Children auction as well. We expect that the need for clothing resources in our community will be greater this year than ever before. We need your help to maintain our services and ensure that we will have enough inventory to meet the growing need.

We are reaching out today to ask you to support our goal of raising $50,000 with this virtual fundraising event. The monies raised by this fundraiser will enable us to continue to provide services to students and keep Clothes For Kids operational until we are again able to hold in-person fundraising events.

During the shutdown in the spring, Clothes For Kids provided 120 emergency wardrobes to local students. We reopened for school shopping on August 10th – by appointment only this year -- and are pleased to say that we have already served over 150 students. Thank you for helping us empower students for success, even during the pandemic!

Please consider donating today to support local students. It costs approximately $100 to provide a complete wardrobe to one student. Or $20 per month can supply 20 students with new shoes this year. There are many ways to give!
